Dashboard: Competitor Comparison (Premium)

The premium Competitor Comparison dashboard allows you to select your top competitors and then compare them against your own company on both a standard and advanced set of metrics, as well as filter your dataset to customize your analysis.

Select Competitors

In the "Select Competitors" dropdown, use the search bar to find your company's competitors. Once you've selected your competitors, click "update" to add your competitors' data to the graphs and charts below.

Metrics

After adding your competitors, you can view the following metrics about your organization and your competitors as line graphs:

  • Allowance Rate by Disposition Year

    • Allowance rate is calculated as the number of allowed applications divided by the total number of disposed applications (allowed + abandoned).

  • Average Office Actions by Disposition Year

    • Average Office Actions is calculated as the average number of office actions per disposed application. Office actions include non-final rejections, final rejections, restriction/election requirements, and Ex parte Quayle actions.

  • Pendency by Disposition Year

    • Pendency is displayed in months and calculated as the average number of months between an application’s filing date and an application’s allowance or abandonment date.

  • Average Interviews per Application

    • Average interviews is calculated as the average number of interviews per disposed application.

  • Average RCEs per Application

    • Average RCEs is calculated as the average number of RCEs filed per disposed application.

  • Average Appeals per Application

    • Average appeals is calculated as the average number of appeals per disposed application.

  • §112(b) Rejection Rate

    • The §112(b) rejection rate is the average number of §112(b) rejections per application.

  • §101 Rejection Rate

    • The §101 rejection rate is the average number of §101 rejections per application.

  • Track One

    • The percentage of filed applications that have a Track One request.

Additionally, view the top CPC classes and tech centers for your company and its competitors by changing the selected company in the dropdown above each donut chart.
