In-Line Filters is a new version of Juristat’s filtering system. It replaces the old pop-up modal with a permanent, visible control bar. Instead of opening a separate filter window, users can now find, create, edit, and reuse filters directly on the page they are working on.

Where to Find

In-Line Filters appear on the top-left side of supported pages. A persistent filter row displays all active filters as tiles. In-Line Filters will be the default filtering experience across the application, including the pages listed below:

  • Intelligence View

  • Table View

  • Examiner Reports

  • Dashboards

  • Alerts

  • Keyword Search

  • Citation Insights

How to Use

To get started, click the tile on any supported page. Search for the filter you want to apply, or scroll to browse available options. Set your filter parameters and click Apply.

Editing or Removing Filters

To edit an active filter, click the filter tile, make your changes, and click Apply.

To remove a filter, hover over the filter tile and click the X.

FAQs

Does this change how results are calculated?

No. The underlying filter logic is unchanged. This is a UX redesign

Can I still save and reuse filter sets?

Yes. Filter Sets are now managed in the Filter Sets tab within the dropdown and applied as inline tiles in the row.

Can a Filter Set include another Filter Set?

No. Filter Sets can only contain individual filters, not other sets.
