The Juristat API is available to all customers with subscriptions that include Data Layer (MCP) and enables them to programmatically access Juristat's patent prosecution intelligence data. With the API, you can integrate Juristat's analytics directly into your existing tools, workflows, and systems.

What the Juristat API provides

The Juristat API allows you to:

  • Retrieve examiner analytics, including allowance rates, office action rates, appeal rates, and interview outcomes for any USPTO examiner.

  • Access art unit performance data and benchmarks across technology centers and CPC classifications.

  • Pull assignee portfolio statistics, including prosecution history, rejection type breakdowns, and firm performance comparisons.

  • Retrieve application-level data, such as prosecution status, office action history, response strategies, and outcome metrics.

  • Access law firm analytics, including prosecution efficiency, client win rates, and comparative performance across peer firms.

  • Query CPC class benchmarks to understand how a portfolio or examiner compares to broader filing trends.

  • Retrieve citation data, including forward and backward citation networks for competitive intelligence and licensing analysis.

  • Integrate Juristat data into your CRM, BI tools, or internal dashboards for custom reporting and workflow automation.

Example use cases

When you integrate Juristat data into your systems, you unlock patent prosecution intelligence at scale. Build custom reporting and automated workflows around examiner behavior, portfolio trends, and prosecution outcomes.

For example:

  • Automatically surface examiner insights inside your docketing or case management system at the time an office action is docketed.

  • Correlate prosecution strategy choices (e.g., interview request vs. amendment-only) with allowance outcomes across your firm's own docket.

  • Import examiner and art unit benchmarks into your BI platform to identify high-risk applications and prioritize prosecution resources.

  • Power competitive intelligence dashboards that track assignee filing trends, rejection exposure, and prosecution efficiency over time.
